Michael Taylor and Alexandra Stevens, both from Willingboro, made child sex abuse material with an 8-year-old and distributed it over the internet while in Central Florida in November 2023, Acting United States Attorney Sara Sweeney said.
Stevens, 20, sexually assaulted the girl while Taylor recorded on his phone, NJ.com reported, citing a criminal complaint. Stevens told the girl to not tell police or she'd get in trouble, NJ.com reported, citing court documents.
Taylor pleaded guilty to producing, distributing and receiving child sexual abuse material and faces between 15 and 30 years in federal prison, Sweeney said. Stevens pleaded guilty last month to the same charges, Sweeney said. They remain in federal custody pending their sentencing, Sweeney said.
